Loan watch

14 March 2016|Tottenham Hotspur

Dominic Ball tasted victory with Rangers during a relatively quiet week for our players out on loan.

The young defender completed 90 minutes for Mark Warburton’s Scottish Championship leaders as they brushed aside Greenock Morton 3-1 on Friday evening.

Elsewhere, midfielder Grant Ward played his part in Rotherham United’s stunning late comeback at home to Derby County in the Championship on Saturday afternoon.

Trailing 3-0 with seven minutes to go, the Millers recovered to draw 3-3 with Grant, who had come on as a substitute just after the half-hour mark, supplying the assist for the home side’s first goal.

Last Tuesday night, Grant was an unused substitute for Rotherham in their 1-0 home win over Middlesbrough.

On that same evening, young striker Ryan Loft made his first appearance in Braintree Town’s matchday squad having linked up with the Essex side on work experience terms. He was an unused substitute as Braintree drew 0-0 away to Torquay United in the Vanarama National League.
