Alex Pritchard was part of the Brentford side that completed a late turnaround to claim maximum points against Fulham on Friday night.

The midfielder, one of two of our loanees who saw action in the Championship over the weekend, played 90 minutes for the Bees as they recovered from a 1-0 deficit to beat the Cottagers 2-1 at Griffin Park thanks to two goals in the final nine minutes.

Meanwhile, Ryan Fredericks was called into action off the bench as Middlesbrough drew 1-1 at Wigan Athletic on Saturday, the 22-year-old going on at right-back for the last 19 minutes.

In League Two, Jordan Archer kept a clean sheet for Northampton Town as they won 1-0 at home to Stevenage while Shaq Coulthirst was an unused substitute for Southend United in their 2-1 triumph at Tranmere Rovers.

Elsewhere, Tom Carroll retained his place in Swansea City’s starting XI for their Premier League trip to Manchester City, being replaced mid-way through the second half with his side losing 2-1. That proved to be the final score.

In Germany, Lewis Holtby played 67 minutes for Hamburg in their 2-0 home Bundesliga victory over Werder Bremen while in Italy, Tomislav Gomelt was on the bench for Bari as they won 2-1 at home to Trapani in Serie B.
