Loan watch

Mon 13 October 2014, 09:33|Tottenham Hotspur

The international break meant only a handful of our on-loan players were in domestic action at the weekend – with Kenny McEvoy enjoying the best fortunes.

The young winger went on as a substitute for Peterborough United as they won 4-1 at Crawley to climb to second place in League One.

A division lower, Shaq Coulthirst played the first half as Southend United lost 2-0 at Luton while Jordan Archer was in goal for Northampton Town in their 2-1 home loss to Burton Albion.

Jordan was also in midweek action for Northampton as they triumphed 2-1 at Portsmouth in the second round of the Johnstone’s Paint Trophy.

Elsewhere at the weekend, Grant Ward was an 83rd minute substitute for Chicago Fire as they lost 2-0 at Sporting Kansas City in the MLS.
