Loan watch

04 August 2014|Tottenham Hotspur

Grant Ward won the penalty from which Chicago Fire scored their goal in their 1-1 draw with Columbus Crew at the weekend.

Our on-loan midfielder once again started for the hosts in the MLS clash and it was his cross that was handled by Tyson Wahl in the area eight minutes before half-time, Mike Magee duly slotting home from the spot.

Crew levelled straight after the interval, with Grant being replaced on 57 minutes.

In pre-season friendly action on Saturday, Grant Hall completed 90 minutes for Birmingham City in their 3-1 home win over Inverness Caledonian Thistle, while Kenny McEvoy played for an hour in Peterborough United’s 1-1 draw at Luton Town.
