Tottenham HotspurCristian Ceballos and Yago Falque suffered defeats with their respective loan clubs over the weekend.
Cristian played 90 minutes for FC Arouca in their 1-0 reverse at Belenenses in Portugal on Saturday while Yago’s Rayo Vallecano were reduced to 10 men on their way to a 4-0 defeat at Villarreal in Spain’s La Liga.
Meanwhile, Tom Carroll was an unused substitute for Queens Park Rangers in Friday night’s Championship play-off semi-final first leg stalemate at Wigan, which ended goalless.
The second leg of that tie takes place tonight (Monday, May 12) at 7.45pm.
