Loan watch

22 February 2016|Tottenham Hotspur

It was a largely disappointing weekend for our players out on loan.

Midfielder Grant Ward was introduced as a 38th-minute substitute for Rotherham United at Burnley on Saturday, but saw his side suffer a 2-0 defeat in the Championship.

In League Two, left-back Connor Ogilvie was ever-present for Stevenage as they lost 1-0 at Carlisle United while, in the fifth round of the FA Cup, Alex Pritchard stepped off the bench for West Bromwich Albion with eight minutes left of their tie at Reading but the Baggies ended up exiting the competition after find themselves on the wrong end of a 3-1 scoreline.

On Sunday, Federico Fazio played 90 minutes for Sevilla as they drew 2-2 away to Rayo Vallecano in La Liga while fellow defender Dominic Ball was an unused substitute for Rangers in their 1-0 Scottish Championship win at Queen of the South.
