On-loan midfielder Grant Ward helped Rotherham United claim a vital victory over Leeds United on Saturday.
Once again starting for the Millers, Grant completed the full 90 minutes of his side’s 1-0 win at Elland Road – their first league triumph since September 26.
The result lifted them off the foot of the Championship table, but they remain three points from safety.
In League Two, Connor Ogilvie played his part as Stevenage kept a clean sheet at home to Luton Town. The left-back completed the full 90 minutes of the goalless draw, while young goalkeeper Harry Voss was on the bench for the hosts after linking up with them on Friday.
There was also a share of the spoils for Dominic Ball and Nathan Oduwa with Rangers in the Scottish Premier League. Mark Warburton’s side drew 1-1 at Livingston, defender Dominic completing the full game with attacker Nathan also starting before being substituted on 56 minutes.
DeAndre Yedlin’s Sunderland visit Crystal Palace this evening (Monday, November 23) in the Premier League.
