DeAndre Yedlin marked his first Premier League start for Sunderland in the Black Cats’ 2-2 draw at home to West Ham on Saturday.
Our on-loan right-back played the full 90 minutes at the Stadium of Light, having previously made his Sunderland debut in last month’s Capital One Cup defeat to Manchester City.
Elsewhere on Saturday, Connor Ogilvie returned to the Stevenage line-up following a brief absence through a hamstring injury, but saw his side slump to a 1-0 home defeat at the hands of Carlisle United in League Two. The young left-back completed the full game.
Elsewhere, attacking midfielder Nathan Oduwa started and defender Dominic Ball was a late substitute for Rangers as they won 3-1 at home to Falkirk in the Scottish Championship.
Nathan was withdrawn on 62 minutes while Dominic went on in stoppage time shortly before the hosts grabbed their third goal of the afternoon.
As previously reported , midfielder Grant Ward scored a 25-yard thunderbolt for Rotherham United in their home clash with Burnley in the Championship on Friday night, but it wasn’t enough to prevent his side from suffering a 2-1 defeat.
