Loan watch

25 May 2015|Tottenham Hotspur

Tomislav Gomelt was in action for Italian side FC Bari as they closed their Serie B campaign with a 1-0 defeat away to Spezia at the weekend.

Tomislav, who returned to action in last week’s 3-2 win over Brescia, was in the starting line-up once again and completed 77 minutes before being substituted.

Elsewhere, Lewis Holtby helped German side Hamburg claim a 2-0 home win over Schalke to avoid automatic relegation from the Bundesliga.

The midfielder played the full 90 minutes and got the assist for his side’s second goal. Hamburg now face a two-legged play-off against Karlsruher to determine which team will be playing top tier football next season.

Meanwhile, winger Aaron Lennon was ineligible to represent Everton in our 1-0 win at Goodison Park on the final day of the Premier League campaign on Sunday, as per loan rules.
