On-loan Alex Pritchard will be hoping to help Brentford turn around a narrow deficit in the second leg of their Championship play-off semi-final against Middlesbrough after the Bees slipped to a 2-1 defeat on Friday night.
The 22-year-old, who has scored 12 goals from midfield during his loan stint with Mark Warburton’s side, completed the full 90 minutes in the first leg at Griffin Park as his team got back on level terms after Boro’s first half opener – only to concede again in the 90th minute to leave themselves work to do in next Friday’s return at the Riverside.
Ryan Fredericks did not feature for Boro.
Elsewhere, Aaron Lennon was in action for Everton in their 2-0 home defeat by Sunderland in the Premier League on Saturday. The winger completed 86 minutes for the Toffees before being substituted.
On the continent, Lewis Holtby played 58 minutes for Hamburg as they drew 1-1 at home to Freiburg in the German Bundesliga while, in Italy, Tomislav Gomelt was an unused substitute for FC Bari in their 2-0 Serie B defeat at Latina.
