Steven Caulker, David Button and Jon Obika were all involved in high-profile matches on Easter Monday.

Central defender Steven made his 41st start of the season for Yeovil against promotion-chasing Leeds United in a match televised live on Sky Sports. He performed well but Yeovil went down 2-1 in League One at Huish Park.

Goalkeeper David made a string of fine saves as Shrewsbury took on title-chasing Notts County in League Two at the Prostar Stadium. He denied Mike Edwards and Neal Bishop in the first haf but was eventually beaten by Ben Davies as the Magpies won 1-0.

Striker Jon (pictured above) came on as substitute for Millwall at Colchester in League One and within five minutes, the Lions scored the winner via an own goal. The 2-1 win kept Lions in the chase for automatic promotion, a point behind second-placed Swindon.

In the Championship, Kyle Naughton played 90 minutes as Middlesbrough beat Plymouth 2-0 while Adel Taarabt's QPR had a day to forget, going down 4-0 at Leicester City.

In Turkey, Giovani played the full match as Galatasaray's Turkcell Super Lig title hopes were hit by a late goal and 1-1 draw against Sivasspor. They are now down to fourth in the table.

Adel Taarabt was at his best for QPR - but couldn't stop them dropping points at home to Sheffield Wednesday on Saturday.

Adel was involved in most of QPR's attacking play including the opening goal for Alejandro Faurlin. However, the Owls hit back for a late point via Tom Soares.

Staying in the Championship, Kyle Naughton came on as a 42nd minute subtitute as Middlesbrough drew with Crystal Palace.

In League One, Steven Caulker helped Yeovil keep a clean sheet in a goalless draw at Southend and Jon Obika was an unused substitute for Millwall in Friday's 1-1 draw against Brentford.

David Button travelled to team-mate Adam Smith's Torquay with Shrewsbury in League Two and saw his side take the lead only to lose to two second half goals. Adam was an unused substitute.

Of our more senior players on loan, Robbie Keane scored again for Celtic, this time a penalty winner at Hibernian in the SPL on Sunday. Jamie O'Hara played 90 minutes as Portsmouth drew 0-0 with Blackburn in the Premier League.
