Alex Pritchard is learning to be 'clever' as opponents try to stop him playing in the Championship.
The playmaker has claimed three goals in 17 appearances in all competitions so far as his loan side Brentford have enjoyed a fine start to the campaign.
Academy product Alex's latest strike came against Forest as the Bees have put together a run of three straight wins to sit sixth in the table.
Having caught the eye on loan at Swindon Town last season - where he was nominated in two categories at the Football League Awards - Alex is finding teams paying him close attention.
"Things are going really well, we've won three on the bounce and I'm thoroughly enjoying my football," said 'Pritch'.
"It's been tougher for me recently because I'm now being doubled-up against in matches but I know it's all about being clever in those situations.
"You have to find space with movement to try and free yourself up and get onto the ball.
"It's a challenge but one I'm relishing."
Alex, who made his first start for England Under-21s in Monday's friendly against France, is now preparing for a high-profile game as the Bees take on neighbours Fulham at Craven Cottage on Friday, live on Sky Sports.
"Both teams are in form, it's a local derby and live on TV, so a great game to be involved in," he added.
