Lewes next for Ladies
29 August 2015|Tottenham Hotspur
Manager Karen Hills says Sunday's League Cup tie against Lewes presents an ideal chance for Spurs Ladies to return to winning ways after the disappointment of last weekend's defeat to C&K Basildon.
Two red cards and a second half goal conceded made it a miserable afternoon for the Ladies in the FA Women's Premier League South last time out.
But with league duties put to one side this weekend, Karen believes her players will be determined to put on a good performance when they host Lewes at Cheshunt FC with a place in the next round of the League Cup at stake.
"It's always a tough game against Lewes but we'll be looking to bounce straight back," she said.
"Our focus and aim hasn't changed – we go into every game believing we can get the win."
Come along and support Spurs Ladies at Cheshunt FC, Theobalds Lane, this Sunday (August 30).
Kick-off is at 2pm.
