Leicester vs Spurs - travel information

18 August 2015|Tottenham Hotspur

Leicester City have advised us of roadworks that are likely to affect our supporters travelling to the King Power Stadium for Saturday's Premier League match (kick-off 3pm).

The scheme is known as the Leicester North West Major Transport Project and affects three major junctions, as follows:

•         A50 County Hall roundabout
•         A50/A563 New Parks Way roundabout
•         A563 Aikman Avenue junction

The works are likely to cause significant traffic delays, due to the traffic management required to construct the works.

Fans (both home and away) attending matches at the King Power stadium are likely to pass through these works on their way to the stadium and are therefore advised to allow additional journey time.

Travelling supporters should also be aware of roadworks on the M1 between J19-15 (these are southbound, but affecting northbound traffic as well) and J21 (new footbridge at Leicester Forest Services).

Rail services are running to schedule although later trains back to London (after 9pm) will run 20 minutes later after departing Luton.

Fans are also advised that car parking for Saturday's fixture is available at Leicester Rugby Club on Welford Road, a short walk to the KP Stadium.
