Leicester City v Tottenham Hotspur

Leicester end their 111 year stay at Filbert Street on Saturday with the visit of Tottenham Hotspur, before their move to a new £35 million stadium in the summer.

The Foxes and new boss Micky Adams will want to bow out with a morale-boosting victory before having to endure a battle to return to the Premiership next season.

However standing in their way will be a Tottenham team determined to finish in seventh place in what would be the north Londoners highest league placing in 11 years.

To achieve this, Glenn Hoddle's side must win on Saturday to finish above the likes of West Ham and Aston Villa. However one area that the former England coach will need his players to improve on next season is their shooting accuracy. Just 39% of their goal attempts have been on target in the Premiership this season - the only side to have a ratio under 40%.

Subsequently it is little wonder that the club is being constantly linked with summer moves for new strikers to arrive at White Hart Lane in time for the start of the 2002-03 season.

Meanwhile Leicester boss Adams is expected to have a clearout of the Leicester team with the likes of high earners such as Muzzy Izzet and Robbie Savage rumoured to be moving on.

Adams will try and recreate the spirit within the club that has been lacking since Martin O'Neill moved to Celtic, basing his side on the impressive group of youngsters that have come through the ranks such as Matthew Piper and Jonathan Stevenson.

However to win promotion from the Nationwide League they will need to have a strong backbone and presence that this season's First Division champions Manchester City had in someone like Stuart Pearce. The club's ability to hang on to captain Matt Elliott and supporters Player of the Year Frank Sinclair could be key to the club's fortunes in making an instant return to the top-flight. The pair would certainly hope to let in a lot less than the 63 goals Leicester conceded over the course of the season - one of the obvious reason's in the club's decline.

While this game is not exactly the way, the Leicester board intended to leave their home ground when they made these plans to relocate several years ago the Foxes will want to sign off from Filbert Street with a win against Spurs.

But don't expect the visitors to just be cannon fodder as their 27% cross completion rate is the best in the Premiership and Spurs have several players eager to prove their worth of a place in Hoddle's plans next season.

Match referee: D. Elleray

Harrow head-master David Elleray has been one of the most lenient referees in the Premiership. He has sent off just three players this season - although two of them were Tottenham's Gary Doherty and Gustavo Poyet in their match at Everton last August.

Walker v Keller

Sergei Rebrov returns from illness to boost the Tottenham squad. The Ukrainian will compete with Steffen Iversen, Teddy Sheringham and Gary Doherty for a place in attack. But Tim Sherwood is ruled out with a shin injury so Stephen Clemence is expected to continue in midfield.

Muzzy Izzet will play his last game for Leicester. Dennis Wise is available and Alan Rogers, Andy Impey and Brian Deane could all figure. Youngster Matthew Piper will keep his place, with teenagers Jon Ashton and Jon Stevenson on the bench.
