Three years ago in the Worthington Cup Final at Wembley between Leicester and Tottenham few people could ever have imagined that the two goalkeepers that day Ian Walker and Kasey Keller would be facing each other in the final match to be played at Filbert Street having swapped teams. But such is the fickle nature of the professional game that this is the scenario that both men face on Saturday.

Ian Walker's £2.5 million move to Leicester has not panned out the way the former Spurs goalkeeper would have liked for obvious reasons. The cruel fate of relegation was not something he could have imagined when he completed his move to the east Midlands last summer, after failing to dislodge Neil Sullivan as Tottenham's first-choice goalkeeper.

He missed the opening few games of the season after having to serve a suspension for a misdemeanour in a Spurs reserve game last season. His career was given a boost when he was drafted into the England squad for the World Cup qualifier at home to Albania before even pulling on the Foxes goalkeeping jersey.

But despite making 117 saves in the Premiership this season - the highest tally by an Englishman - it was not enough for Walker to be selected in Sven Goran Eriksson's World Cup squad.

One man who is off to the Far East in a couple of weeks is United States custodian Kasey Keller. The 32-year-old makes his first return to Leicester since he left to try his luck in Spain with Rayo Vallecano in Spain three years ago.

His time at Filbert Street coincided with a highly successful period for the Foxes under Martin O'Neill. Keller picked up a Worthington Cup winners medal in the club's victory over Middlesbrough in 1997 and enjoyed the benefit of playing in the UEFA Cup the subsequent season.

In the side again after an injury to Sullivan, one of his finest displays for the club to date came in the recent 1-0 win over Liverpool, when Keller won Opta's man-of-the-match award for four saves and seven catches to halt the Reds' title aspirations.

He is ending the campaign in the best possible way, and being the focused professional that he is, Keller is sure to want to spoil the Foxes' farewell to Filbert Street and you can get odds of 9/1 on him keeping another clean sheet in a 2-0 win for the visitors on Saturday.
