Leicester U18s vs Spurs - John's preview

19 September 2014|Tottenham Hotspur

Our Academy players return to Barclays Under-18 Premier League duty on Saturday lunchtime with a trip to Leicester City.

Having drawn their last three consecutive league matches, the lads will be keen to continue the good form that saw them lift the Under-18 Champions Cup earlier this month.

“Traditionally Leicester away is a very difficult game,” said Academy Manager John McDermott.

“We’ve had a very good week in training, Charlie Owens and Luke Amos are back from injury so we’re going there with what I like to think is a strong squad.

“We travel with every intention of playing the way we want to play and getting a positive result.”

Please note, kick-off at Leicester’s training ground is now at 1pm on Saturday. We’ll have live updates on Twitter @SpursOfficial along with a full report here on tottenhamhotspur.com afterwards.
