Legends stop by
23 June 2015|Tottenham Hotspur
A group of Club legends were welcome visitors to the Training Centre today (Tuesday, June 23).
Mark Falco, Tony Galvin, Micky Hazard, Ossie Ardiles and Paul Miller, members of our successful side of the early 1980s that picked up consecutive FA Cups in 1981 and 1982 as well as the 1984 UEFA Cup, were joined by 1961 Double hero – three-time FA Cup winner and 1963 European Cup Winners’ Cup champion – Cliff Jones and 1991 FA Cup winner Paul Allen for a summer get-together ahead of the new season.
All eight stars can be regularly seen hosting supporters in the hospitality lounges at White Hart Lane on matchdays.
“It’s been great to meet up with the boys at the Training Centre today – back when we were playing we were always keen to get back and see everyone again as quickly as possible during the summer and it’s no different now!” said Mark, 54, also a regular for the Spurs Legends football team.
“We still have a great camaraderie among us and you can tell that we’re all still extremely passionate about the Club.”
