Ledley takes the tram!

Our Official Hong Kong Supporters Club was taken on a tram ride through the city with AIA and a very special guest today.

The journey from Witty Street to Happy Valley was joined at Alexandra House by Club Ambassador Ledley King, making it a memorable day for one of our most-established international fan groups.

Today’s event was part of the celebrations marking the announcement of AIA as our new global partners and official shirt sponsor until 2019.

The specially-branded tram will be in operation throughout Hong Kong for the coming month, with Alexandra House station also displaying the partnership in the centre of the city.

Ledley said: “It’s always a pleasure to meet the fans in this part of the world and this was an experience I am sure they will never forget.

“Our ongoing partnership with AIA will mean that I will get to engage even more with our passionate support in the Far East region over the coming years.”

Earlier in the day, Ledley visited AIA’s Hong Kong regional offices to meet with staff and take part in an autograph signing and photo session, alongside Club mascot Chirpy!
