Ledley can be King of the world
Tottenham Hotspur (Spurs) Football Club is located in North London. The club is also known as Spurs. Tottenham's home ground is White Hart Lane. The club motto is Audere est Facere (To dare is to do).
Dean Richards is tipping Ledley King to go onto greater things - and refuses to rule him out of making England's World Cup squad.
Ledley is back in action for England Under-21s tonight in the crucial European Championship play-off, second leg, against Holland at Derby's Pride Park.
The first leg finished 2-2 in Utrecht and the winners will go into next summer's Euro U21 Finals.
Only recently turned 21, Ledley is expected to earn his 12th U21 cap tonight and his defensive partner 'Deano' reckons he could end up in next summer's major event in Japan and Korea.
"I think he's capable of making the full squad," said Dean.
"If he plays the way he's played so far, continue that consistency and how he's played for the Under-21s as well, I can't see a reason why he can't squeeze into the squad for this World Cup. And if not this one, he'll be involved in the next one, definitely."
Dean and Ledley have played just five times together but our early season capture from Southampton has seen enough already in games and everyday training to predict a great future.
"I played against him a couple of times before this season but seeing him week in, week out, he's really impressed me," added Dean.
"I've no doubt he has a great future in the game. He's got everything really to be a top class defender and I'm sure he could play in midfield as well because he's got the ability.
"It's been great to play alongside him. Hopefully I'm helping him a bit as well, helping him talk, because that's a part of his game he can improve, but he's been first class since I've been here."
