Dele Alli, Eric Dier, Harry Kane and Kieran Trippier have been named in the England squad for a pair of 2018 FIFA World Cup qualifiers against Malta and Slovakia over the next fortnight.
Dele, Eric and Harry have all been regulars in the national squad in recent years with 19 caps each, while right-back Kieran earned his first call-up and appearance in June’s 3-2 friendly defeat in France.
The Three Lions travel to Malta on Friday 1 September before returning to Wembley to host Slovakia on Monday 4 September. Kick-off for both games is at 7.45pm.
Elsewhere, Kyle Walker-Peters and Josh Onomah, the latter currently on loan at Aston Villa, have been included in the England Under-21s squad to face the Netherlands away on Friday 1 September and Latvia at home on Tuesday 5 September. Both were members of the Under-20s squad that lifted the World Cup over the summer.
Meanwhile, midfielder Marcus Edwards is in the England Under-20s squad to host the Netherlands on Thursday 31 August before travelling to face Switzerland four days later, while wide player Keanan Bennetts returns to the international picture, having last been involved at Under-17 level, joining defenders Japhet Tanganga and Jaden Brown in the Under-19s squad for home games against Poland on Friday 1 September and Germany four days later.
Midfielder Oliver Skipp, impressive for our Under-23s this season at only 16 years of age, steps up to join the England Under-18s group for the first time alongside defender TJ Eyoma and midfielder Tashan Oakley-Boothe. They’ll face Brazil on Friday 1 September, then South Africa on Monday 4 September.
