Danny Rose and David Button featured as the England Under-19s were held to a 0-0 draw by their Italian counterparts in the second group game of their European Championship campaign.

The Young Lions were dominant in Jablonec as they looked to bounce back from defeat against hosts Czech Republic in their opening game on Monday.

Midfielder Danny was heavily involved in England's first half pressure, setting up chances for Freddie Sears and Daniel Sturridge, as well as seeing one of his own efforts sail narrowly over the bar just before the break.

At the other end, David was largely untroubled in the England goal, but Brian Eastick's men failed break the Italians down.

Our two young hopefuls now go into Sunday's final group game with Greece in Liberec knowing nothing less than three points will take them through to the semi-finals.
