Sandro and Heurelho Gomes have been getting in the spirit for Sport Relief, along with players from our Academy.
Bigger and better than ever before, Sport Relief 2014 is encouraging people to sign up for one of more than 1,000 running, swimming or cycle events taking place across the UK, including at Olympic Park in Stratford today.
Our players took part in their own running, swimming and cycling challenges in support of the national charity.
The Brazilian pair each took a team of Academy players and paired them off against each other in a best-of-three event competition.
‘Team Sandro’ consisted of Emmanuel Sonupe, Josh Onomah and Harry Winks, with Anthony Georgiou, William Miller and Connor Ogilvie representing ‘Team Gomes’.

The Great British public has been putting in amazing performances for Sport Relief ever since it began in 2002. And, the £195million raised so far is being put to good use, helping transform the lives of some of the poorest and most disadvantaged people both here in the UK and around the world. By taking part you will be raising cash to help people who live unimaginably tough lives every day.
