Our Croatian internationals Vedran Corluka, Niko Kranjcar and Luka Modric face a huge match in Greece in Group F on Friday night.

France are top by a point and both should win their matches on Friday against Albania and Luxembourg respectively before a make-or-break showdown in the final group match at the Stade de France on Tuesday.

It looks like plain sailing for Rafa van der Vaart’s Holland, who have won eight out of eight in Group D and finish their campaign against Moldova on Friday and Sweden on Tuesday. Sweden are six points behind, but 11 goals adrift on goal difference.

Gareth Bale is looking for pride with Wales, who impressed in the last internationals against Montenegro and England. They take on Switzerland in Cardiff on Friday before travelling to Bulgaria on Tuesday.

The international action starts tonight when Adam Smith is in the England Under-21 squad for an away double-header in qualifying against Iceland and then Norway on Monday.

Sebastien Bassong’s Cameroon travel to RD Congo in African Cup of Nations qualifying on Friday night. They have to win and win well to try and gain one of the two best runners-up spots with Senegal out of reach at the top of the group. Only group winners qualify automatically.

In friendly action, Sandro is in the Brazil squad for matches against Costa Rica on Friday and Mexico on Tuesday, where he’ll come up against team-mate Giovani.

Sebastien also has a friendly for Cameroon against Guinea on Tuesday.

At Under-16 level, we have three representatives in the Victory Shield with Connor Ogilvie, Emmanuel Sonupe and Kodi Lyons-Foster in the England squad for the match against Northern Ireland on Saturday.
