Lads determined to finish well - Harry

Harry Kane says the team is determined to push on again between now and the end of the season.

The 29-goal striker - nominated for the PFA Player and Young Player Awards this week - recognises that we haven’t reached the standards set since the turn of the year in our last two matches against Burnley and Villa.

The squad wants to change that against Newcastle at St James’ Park on Sunday.

“We all want to win every game remaining and finish the season on a high,” said Harry.

“We don’t want the season to end in disappointment, there are winnable games ahead and we want to finish strongly not just for us but for the fans as well.

“We’ve had a great spell from November, been on a really good run but the last couple of games have been a slip-up and we’re all disappointed about that.

“But that’s what the Premier League is like, you have to maintain your standards and form otherwise you’ll get tripped up.

“So we’re looking to finish strongly as we all want to look back and see it as a positive season.”
