Lads confident ahead of Anfield test - Gylfi

Gylfi Sigurdsson hopes the team can ride a wave of confidence into Anfield this afternoon.

The Iceland midfielder fired home a last-minute winner to complete our comeback from 2-0 down to beat Southampton 3-2 last weekend.

Now we face a Liverpool team in flying form - and looking to go top of the Premier League.

"It's a massive task at Anfield but the players are up for it, especially after winning against Southampton in the last minute," said Gylfi. "That gave us a lift and confidence and we'll look to take that into the game.

"Liverpool have been really good this season. Obviously, they have Suarez and Sturridge up front and that would help any team with the way they have been playing. The team is strong, they are playing good, attacking football. We're going to Anfield to give it our all.

"The most important thing for us is to try to go on a good run between now and the end of the season and see what happens."
