Ladies ready for Enfield test tonight
08 October 2015|Tottenham Hotspur
There will be no sign of complacency when Spurs Ladies take on Enfield Town in the London Cup this evening (Thursday, October 8, 7.45pm).
The teams met early last season when Spurs ran out 7-0 winners in the FA Women's Premier League Cup.
Spurs have made a promising start to the season and the players are determined to land silverware this term.
That would mean going one step further than last season in this competition when they were narrowly beaten by Charlton in the final.
Enfield are currently mid-table in the FAWPL South-East Division. "Enfield play at a good standard, we know a lot of their players and we will always prepare in the right manner for these matches," said manager Karen Hills.
"The important thing from our point of view is to do everything right and not let our standards slip. We've made a positive start to the season and we know if we play to our level of performance we should be alright on the night.
"The girls are determined to win a trophy this season and make up for the disappointments of last season's final."
Kick-off is 7.45pm at Cheshunt FC, Theobalds Lane.
Entrance is FREE for One Hotspur Members and it's just £3 Adults/£1 Under-16s. Come and support the ladies!
