The Spurs Ladies progressed to the second round of this season's WFA Cup with a 3-1 home victory over Oxford City at the weekend.

Gill Blackmore opened the scoring for the girls, and although the visitors hit back just before the break, second half strikes from Nichola Cable and Sam Garner (pictured below) set up a tie with Northampton Town in the next round.

There were also impressive results for both the Under-15 and Under-12 sides over the weekend, with five-star performances from two of the club's young strikers.

Renata Inniss hit five as the Under-15s defeated Enfield Town 7-1 away from home, while Tia Fogarty (pictured right) struck the same number of goals in the Under-12s 11-0 home win over Stoltford Juniors.

The Under-14s were also 3-0 winners at home to Garston Ladies, but there were defeats for the Under-16 Whites, the Under-13s and the Under-10 Blues.
