After a 2-1 midweek win at Gillingham last Tuesday, the Spurs Ladies suffered a 3-1 weekend defeat at Welwyn Garden City.

Meanwhile, the Reserve side suffered their first league defeat of the season with a 2-1 reverse at Newham Womens, despite Leesa Shields giving them a half-time lead.

The first game of a new era for the Under-16 side ended in defeat, as a team combined of players from the former Blues and Whites sides suffered a 5-1 home loss against Southend United.

There was better news for the Under-15s as they ran out 6-1 winners away at St Martins, with Renata Inniss and Phoebe Eshen helping themselves to two goals each.

The Under-14s did not have a scheduled league fixture but arranged a friendly with West Ham United at the Frederick Knight Sports Ground, in which they won an entertaining encounter 6-4.

In another tight game, the Under-13s edged out rivals Enfield Town in a 2-1 home win, while there was nothing close about the Under-12's 9-0 victory over Garston Ladies.

The Under-11 kept their title challenge alive with a 2-1 win at Belmond Ajax, and the Under-10 Blues booked their place in the semi-finals of the HCGFL Cup with a quarter-final success against Harvesters by the same scoreline.

There was not such luck for the Under-10 Whites, however, as they were eliminated from the competition at the hands of Denham United.
