As revealed here a couple of weeks back, some of the top names from the women’s game in this country have been at Hotspur Way studying for their UEFA ‘A’ Coaching License this week.
The group, including England internationals Kelly Smith, Rachel Yankey and Casey Stoney, have been learning theory from our Academy coaches and PFA reps before delivering practical sessions on groups of players.
One such group to benefit was our very own Spurs Ladies team, who have been making great strides this season, particularly in the cup competitions.
Ahead of the upcoming Ryman Cup Final, Karen Hills’ team can hopefully take inspiration from players that have been trailblazers for the growth of the women’s game in recent years.
