Ladies head to Wales

19 October 2013|Tottenham Hotspur

Karen Hills is looking for a fast start as Tottenham Hotspur Ladies travel to Cardiff City in the FA Women’s Premier League South on Sunday.

Cardiff have started well but manager Karen is determined for her team to build on a 1-1 draw against West Ham last time out.

“It’s a long trip, we’re heading off early and that’s always a disadvantage but we did well last time out against West Ham and training has gone well this week,” said Karen.

“We have to make sure we warm-up correctly and that every player is on point from the first whistle

“Cardiff are a tough, physical side and will be completely up for it, so we have to go there with the right mentality, play how we did at West Ham and hopefully get the result.

“It’s a competitive league, there are no easy games and we have to be ready every time we step on the pitch.”
