Ladies face C&K for first time on Sunday
22 August 2015|Tottenham Hotspur
Karen Hills is well aware of the main threat carried by C&K Basildon ahead of Spurs Ladies' first meeting with the newly-promoted side in the FA Women's Premier League South on Sunday (2pm).
However, the Spurs manager is more concerned with how her team plays in their second FAWPL match of the 2015-16 campaign at Cheshunt FC.
Spurs opened up with a win against QPR last weekend while C&K Basildon picked up an encouraging draw against Charlton.
"C&K have progressed through the leagues and won the South-East title last season," explained Karen. "They have a good coaching set-up and have signed some experienced players.
"They have a stand-out player in Sara Sinclair who plays up front. She used to play at Enfield and scored at the weekend, so we know a bit about her.
"She's quick, works hard and has an eye for goal and is a player we'll keep a close eye on but just as importantly, we'll try to stop the service into her. Cherie Rowlands, who used to be at Watford, is in goal and is another key player for them.
"We certainly won't underestimate them in any way, just the same as we approach every game in this league.
"We'll have a game plan and we're playing well, we're confident and we'll be looking to get on the front foot ourselves.
"We'll be looking to win again and it would be great to do that in front of our fans at Cheshunt."
