Ladies cup final date
04 March 2015|Tottenham Hotspur
Spurs Ladies will take on Charlton in the Ryman's Women's Cup Final on Thursday, April 16.
A venue has yet to be decided for the final between the rivals from the FA Women's Premier League South.
Spurs reached the final in style with a 3-0 win against FAWPL side Gillingham last month after toppling Bury and Enfield in earlier rounds. Meanwhile, Charlton beat West Ham and Maidstone before overpowering Carshalton 6-1 in their semi-final.
It's the ladies first final since lifting the London County Cup in 2012 and manager Karen Hills is determined to have silverware to show for what has been a fine campaign so far.
Indeed, their next fixture is at Derby in the fourth round of the Women's FA Cup on Sunday - the first time in 20 years the team has made it that far.
"We're all feeling positive about this final," said Karen. "It's a great achievement to get there but now we want to win the trophy.
"The players have worked hard all season and we all want silverware. That's what it's about.
"We managed to beat Charlton 5-2 at the start of the season and we'll be confident going into the final, but in no way complacent. Charlton are a good side, they are fourth in the table and we all know they won't want a repeat of that.
"It's all building up to a great final!"
As soon as we have a venue confirmed, we will let you know.
