Kyle's target

Kyle Walker has a straight-forward message going into Saturday’s clash at QPR.

All eyes will be on Loftus Road at 12.45pm as we take on Harry Redknapp’s team in what could be a key weekend in the Premier League with Arsenal hosting City and Chelsea at Stoke.

It’s also a return to QPR for full-back Kyle – on loan there from September, 2010 to January, 2011 – and he insisted: “We need to play the game, not the occasion.”

We go into the match on a run of seven wins and a draw in our last nine games in the Premier League while Rangers have no doubt been boosted by one of the results of the season, their 1-0 win at Chelsea last time out.

“We need to play how we’ve been playing, show our quality and keep getting the results,” added Kyle, who played 18 times for Rangers in his loan stint.

“Attacking-wise, we need to continue getting the likes of Aaron, Gareth and Jermain on the ball and continue scoring goals.

“It’s very close this season for that third spot. The Manchester clubs are a little way away now but Chelsea, us, Arsenal, Everton, West Brom...it’s good and exciting, it keeps us on our toes week in, week out."
