Kyle relishing latest Lane test for Under-21s

Kyle Walker-Peters has revealed how much our young players appreciate the support of the White Hart Lane faithful ahead of our latest Under-21s game at our world-famous stadium.
The England youth international has been lucky enough to run out at the Lane on a number of occasions in the past, both at Under-21 level and in the FA Youth Cup.
The matches are always well-attended with many of the players’ names being sung aloud and full-back Kyle, who has only missed one game for our Under-21s so far this term, is hoping for another great atmosphere when we take on Norwich City on Friday (March 11, kick-off 7pm).
“All the boys are looking forward to it,” confirmed the 18-year-old, who captained the side in last Thursday’s 1-1 draw with Reading. “We always enjoy playing at the Lane and we want to put on a good show for the fans who come to watch.
“The supporters are always really good – they know who we all are and they sing our names from the stands, which really helps us and gives us confidence. The boys absolutely love it – we always give each other banter about the songs the fans sing, so it’s great fun!”
The lads won 3-2 at Carrow Road when we last faced Norwich in the Barclays Under-21 Premier League back in October and Kyle says he and his team-mates are confident of completing a league double over the Canaries in this week’s return match.
“Last time we played Norwich they fielded quite a young side but they’re a very good team,” he said.
“We’re going out there to win, though. We need the three points, we’re going into it feeling positive and looking to perform well.”
