Kyle helps England gain key point in Ukraine
10 September 2013|Tottenham Hotspur
Kyle Walker played the full 90 minutes as England secured a valuable 0-0 draw in Ukraine in World Cup qualifying on Tuesday night.
It was the full-back's eighth cap and the first time he'd failed to win on senior England duty, but his unbeaten record remains intact.
England's chances of making the 2014 finals in Brazil as automatic qualfiers are also intact after the goalless draw in Kiev.
Chances were few and far between, although Kyle set up an opportunity for Theo Walcott in the second half, winning possession before crossing low for Walcott, who fired wide.
Jermain Defoe and Andros Townsend were unused substitutes at Kiev's Olympic Stadium.
Roy Hodgson's men remain top of qualfying Group H, a point ahead of Ukraine and Montenegro.
The Three Lions complete qualifying with a double-header at Wembley in October - Montenegro on October 11, Poland on October 15 - and know two wins will guarantee a place in Brazil next summer.
