Kyle aims to keep it clean at Goodison

Kyle Walker is determined to help the team keep a clean sheet at Everton - knowing that we’re always likely to strike at the other end.

Jermain Defoe’s goal against Panathinaikos took his tally to 13 already this term and Emmanuel Adebayor has netted in two of his last three starts.

With 25 goals, we’re the joint second highest goalscorers in the Premier League with Manchester City. United have scored 37 in 15 matches.

Our away form has also been impressive - four wins the second best in the Premier League - but we now face an Everton team unbeaten at Goodison in seven matches so far this term.

“Ever since I’ve played in the Premier League, Everton is always one of the tough games,” said Kyle.

“They’ve good players, lots of internationals and it will be difficult. Marouane Fellaini is a real handful. He’s mobile for a big guy, gets the ball down and they go through him.

“But our centre-backs Jan and Steven are fantastic and hopefully if we can keep a clean sheet then Jermain, Ade or Clint can go and get us a goal.

“If we continue playing how we’ve been playing and those three keep scoring, then we’ve got every chance.”
