Keep me informed!
Tottenham Hotspur (Spurs) Football Club is located in North London. The club is also known as Spurs. Tottenham's home ground is White Hart Lane. The club motto is Audere est Facere (To dare is to do).
Martin Jol admits he wishes to receive regular updates from the City of Manchester Stadium during the course of our final game of the season against Blackburn Rovers on Sunday.
The destiny of our campaign will not just be determined by the exploits of the team at White Hart Lane, to secure seventh spot in the Barclays Premiership we require Manchester City to overcome Middlesbrough and must better their margin of victory by two goals.
It is a tall order and the Head Coach knows, first and foremost, the requirement is to end the season on a high with a win over Rovers.
"I want to know everything!" said Martin on Wednesday. "It is not only about information from elsewhere though, it is about the chances you get in the match, how we play and how they play. If Blackburn play like they normally do they will play for a result and it will be difficult to score a lot of goals.
"It has always been difficult for us this season when teams have played defensively. The only thing is with it being the last game, if Blackburn approach it in that way and we score a goal they might open up a bit. That is what you want and that suits us.
"We will wait and see."
On three occasions this season the team have recorded five goals at the Lane - Southampton, Everton and Aston Villa - but Martin points out scoring a hatful of goals to order is a big ask.
"What I want it to finish on a good note and I think we can't complain about our home form because we have had some good matches at home.
"Hopefully the crowd will understand that it is very difficult to go into a game where you must score three, four or even five goals. If Manchester City were to score two or three goals it will be very difficult.
"We will go in to win the game and after we will have to see if our result is good enough."
