Robbie Keane has called on the fans to drive us on to Wembley in tonight’s Carling Cup semi-final second leg against Arsenal at White Hart Lane.‘Keano’, who has just entered our record books having netted his 100th goal for the Club on Saturday, knows only too well the impact a White Hart Lane crowd in full voice can have on the team.
And with a first major final in six years within our reach, our top scorer believes the ‘12th man’ could make all the difference on what could be a special night for the Club.
Robbie said: “It’s an old cliché, but the crowd are the twelfth man. I don’t say that lightly because when the crowd are behind you, it does give you an extra boost when they’re willing you on.
“I’m sure the fans will be the same as they always are. It’s a massive occasion for both teams but playing in front of our own fans will be special for us. Hopefully it will be even more special come the end of the game.”

He added: “We’ve been the better teams in the last two games we’ve played against Arsenal and probably should have won them both.
“But we know it’s going to be a difficult game because Arsenal are a quality side with quality players.
“It’s a massive game for the Club and the players and it’s a game we’re going into with a lot of confidence.”
