Robbie Keane believes our true quality shone through in the second half to help us beat Derby 3-0 at Pride Park on Saturday. The teams were locked in a stalemate until the 68th minute when our top scorer netted his 19th goal of the season.
Some of our best football followed before Younes Kaboul and Dimitar Berbatov added further strikes to seal the win.
Keano was pleased with the display, and said: “I think the first half was a little bit sloppy but we came out in the second half and played the sort of football Spurs are famed for. Once we got the first goal, the game opened up.
“It’s difficult playing teams at the bottom because they will try their hardest not to get beat.
“The boss just told us to go out, keep the ball on the ground and create chances, then the goals would come.”
