Kasey tips Foxes return

Tottenham Hotspur (Spurs) Football Club is located in North London. The club is also known as Spurs. Tottenham's home ground is White Hart Lane. The club motto is Audere est Facere (To dare is to do).

Kasey Keller says it is a 'shame' that Leicester have taken a Premiership fall when on the verge of switching to a new arena, but tips his former club to bounce straight back.

Kasey makes his first return to Filbert Street on Saturday as Foxes fans say goodbye to their spiritual home and prepare to move to a shiney new stadium only a stone's throw away.

"It's just a shame that they haven't been able to secure safety with knowing they are moving into the new stadium," pondered Kasey, who predicts a quick return.

"It's a club that, over the years has always bounced back whenever they've had their difficulties. They have a good fan base and I don't see any reason why they shouldn't be challenging next year to come straight back up."

Kasey says he does not expect any baiting of a former player to happen when he steps out at a ground where he enjoyed great success during his four-year spell.

"I don't think so," he smiled. "They were in very good shape when I left and everyone wished me a lot of luck when I did leave."

A good number of Kasey's former team mates remain at Filbert Street, with the obvious exceptions of Emile Heskey and Neil Lennon.

"Emile and Lennon, but then you had a lot of other people that went. Like Steve Walsh, but you've got to realise that the real nucleas of that team was Martin O'Neill. I think him leaving was the final straw," said Kasey, who admits following his old boss was always going to be an uphill struggle..

"It was very difficult. He was the type of person who was very much in control of the situation. Nobody else was kinda doing anything, so when someone else had to step in it was very difficult to recreate what had been started there.

"Everyone expected the team to be relegated as soon as they came up, but they had four great years. Three Worthington Cup finals, European football - to follow that is very difficult."
