Kasey holds court

Tottenham Hotspur (Spurs) Football Club is located in North London. The club is also known as Spurs. Tottenham's home ground is White Hart Lane. The club motto is Audere est Facere (To dare is to do).

Even though the goals have been flying in recently at the right end, Kasey Keller is aware that the amount conceded will attract some unwanted attention.

It is a well trotted out statistic now, our last four games have yielded 28 goals - 15 for and 13 against - and, while the team might currently be a joy to watch for the neutral, the fingernails of the faithful must have taken one hell of a nibbling in recent weeks.

Kasey points out two key points from his point of view, there is always a risk factor that comes with an attacking mentality and he will accept conceding a few if the team are winning games.

"It is definitely going to attract attention," he reflected of the goals against count. "I'm the goalkeeper and I don't like to see goals going in my net.

"You have to think about balance, if you are going to score goals, more often than not you are taking chances.

"The only thing that matters at the end of the game is that you have one more goal than the other team. If you win five out of six games you are obviously doing that more often than not.

"I'll take conceding six goals every game if I know we're going to score seven. The game is about winning," he added, admitting that mistakes cost us dear last time out against Leicester.

"Granted, the Leicester result was a shame but there was a lot of individual errors on both teams that gave simple chances away. You have to kind of legislate for that.

"Players of Premiership quality are not going to miss easy chances. The key in this league is to make it really difficult for teams to score. If you give teams easy opportunities you are going to pay the price for it."
