Kasey: Don't look back
Tottenham Hotspur (Spurs) Football Club is located in North London. The club is also known as Spurs. Tottenham's home ground is White Hart Lane. The club motto is Audere est Facere (To dare is to do).
Kasey Keller says the team must forget about the 3-2 reverse against Fulham back in September and concentrate on securing the points on Monday.
In what was something of a stirring game at Loftus Road, albeit with a disappointing ending, Dean Richards and Teddy Sheringham gave us a two-goal first half lead and Milenko Acimovic was denied a first goal for Spurs in the second period by an offside flag.
Fulham seized the initiative after that and Junichi Inamoto, Steed Malbranque and a last-minute goal from Sylvain Legwinski won the night for the home side.
It was our first defeat of the season, but Kasey insists that all minds should be focused on the present.
"We have a little bit to prove on them but, forget about that, we're going through a pretty good spell right now," reasoned Kasey.
"If we can just keep going, win our home games and pick up some points on the road we'll see what happens come the end of the season."
Fulham's form has been patchy over the course of the campaign, but there is little doubt that, when on song, they present a formidable opposition.
"I think that has possibly been the criticism they've had this season, that they haven't been as consistent as the would have liked to have been," added Kasey.
"On the day though, if you underestimate them you are in for a long day. You have to go out and give them the respect and hopefully your play will show in the end."
