Kasey books ticket

Tottenham Hotspur (Spurs) Football Club is located in North London. The club is also known as Spurs. Tottenham's home ground is White Hart Lane. The club motto is Audere est Facere (To dare is to do).

Kasey Keller has become the first Spur to book his place on the plane to the World Cup finals in Japan and South Korea.

USA Coach Bruce Arena has named his pool of players for the finals and Kasey is joined by five other English-based players.

The most significant, of course, as far as Kasey is concerned is his rival for the No.1 spot, Blackburn's Brad Friedel. Kasey's recent run of Premiership football can only of improved his chances of getting the nod over the former Liverpool man.

Crystal Palace defender Gregg Berhalter is the only Nationwide League representative in the 23-man party.

Fulham midfielder Eddie Lewis, Sunderland's former-Rangers star Claudio Reyna and Everton striker Joe-Max Moore complete the Premiership-based contingent.

Squad: Brad Friedel (Blackburn Rovers), Kasey Keller (Tottenham Hotspur), Tony Meola (Kansas City); Jeff Agoos (San Jose Earthquakes), Gregg Berhalter (Crystal Palace), Eddie Pope (DC United), Carlos Llomosa (New England), Pablo Mastroeni (Colorado Rapids), David Regis (Metz), Frankie Hejduk (Bayer Leverkusen) Tony Sanneh (Nurnberg); DaMarcus Beasley (Chicago), Chris Armas (Chicago Fire), Eddie Lewis (Fulham), Clint Mathis (MetroStars), John O'Brien (Ajax), Claudio Reyna (Sunderland), Cobi Jones (Los Angeles); Earnie Stewart (NAC Breda), Landon Donovan (San Jose Earthquakes), Brian McBride (Columbus Crew), Joe-Max Moore (Everton), Josh Wolff (Chicago Fire).
