Kane targets more of the same against Bournemouth

13 October 2017|Tottenham Hotspur

In-form Harry Kane says he’s looking to hit the goals trail again in October – starting against AFC Bournemouth on Saturday.

Our home-grown striker bagged 13 goals for Club and country in September and was on Friday named as the Premier League’s EA SPORTS Player of the Month.

We’ve a challenging spell of fixtures ahead in the next few weeks with Bournemouth’s visit to Wembley Stadium, connected by EE, swiftly following by a trip to Real Madrid on matchday three in the UEFA Champions League in midweek.

Premier League matches at home to Liverpool and away to Manchester United then lie ahead, with a London derby at home to West Ham United in the fourth round of the Carabao Cup sandwiched in between.

Full of confidence after collecting his latest award, Harry is licking his lips at the prospect of racking up some more goals and victories.

“I feel good and I’m just looking forward to the next games to come,” he said. “When you’re in this sort of form, you just can’t wait to play again and we’ve got another busy month with a lot of tough games ahead, so I’m excited for it.

“We’ve got to hopefully get some good results, finish the month on a high and take it into November as well.”

More immediately on the horizon is this weekend’s meeting with the Cherries.

“Bournemouth are a good team, they like to press, they like to make it difficult, it will be a high-tempo game and I’m looking forward to it,” added Harry. “Hopefully we can find a bit of space, create some chances and score some goals.”
