Kane claims the match ball... and Man of the Match!
15 January 2017|Tottenham Hotspur
Harry Kane unsurprisingly took Man of the Match honours from our supporters after his hat-trick against West Bromwich Albion on Saturday.
The England striker, who celebrated the birth of his first child last weekend, opened the scoring in the first half before netting twice more in the latter stages of the game to complete a 4-0 win, with Gareth McAuley having earlier steered Christian Eriksen’s drive into his own net as we overpowered a notoriously tough-to-beat Baggies side.
Harry took home the match ball and, thanks to 77 per cent of fans’ votes, the title of Man of the Match as well.
Here’s what he had to say on Spurs TV after the game at White Hart Lane…
MAN OF THE MATCH – WEST BROMWICH ALBION
Harry Kane – 77%
Christian Eriksen – 11%
Mousa Dembele – 7%
Kyle Walker – 5%
