KAA Gent v Spurs - team news

15 February 2017|Tottenham Hotspur

Mauricio Pochettino reports that our injured trio of players are all making positive progress.

Jan Vertonghen, Danny Rose and Erik Lamela will all miss our Europa League Round of 32 first leg away to KAA Gent in Belgium on Thursday night.

However, the news is particularly promising on Jan – as reported here, he could even return for our FA Cup tie at Fulham on Sunday – and both Danny (knee) and Erik (hip) are making good progress.

Mauricio reported on Wednesday: “Jan is close and we’re very happy.

“Danny Rose is on plan, he’s very positive, a good reaction after his injury. Erik Lamela is building step by step, positive too. We’re happy with the way they are training.”
