Mauricio Pochettino says the players are relishing the prospect of a quick return to action as we face KAA Gent in the Europa League tonght.
The disappointment felt by the squad after Saturday’s 2-0 loss at Liverpool has been well-documented and now the players want to put it right in the first leg of the Round of 32 tie at the Ghelamco Arena (6pm UK).
Mauricio said: “It’s always good after a disappointment to have another opportunity as soon as possible and we have the opportunity to change the feeling in a different competition.
“The Europa League is a competition where we’ll try to go as far as we can. It will be a good game, tough, like always but important for us to change the feeling after Anfield.
“It’s not time to feel disappointed, we look to change and we know we need to compete in a different way. Now we have an opportunity to change this feeling.”

KAA Gent are currently eighth in Belgium’s First Division A with a fine home record, just two defeats in 13.
“They are a very young team, very dynamic and aggressive and always difficult to play away,” added Mauricio.
“It will be tough. They are always dangerous at home. We need to be ready to fight and to try to win the game. We know there are two games - away and then back at Wembley - and we need to take home a good result.
“It’s important for us to be aggressive from the first minute and not to wait until the second half. We need to play, to be dynamic and play from the first minute.”
