Jacques Santini is hoping to quickly iron out the mistakes that have cost us in recent friendlies.
A defensive mix-up allowed Sheffield United in for the winner on Sunday while the Head Coach considered that both Rangers' goals came from mistakes in last night's 2-0 defeat at Ibrox.
Otherwise, Jacques insisted he was pleased with the first half of a tough work out against the Scottish giants.
"Rangers are a good team," said Jacques. "They are ready now and in less than two weeks they begin their championship.
"They are strong with international players. My team played a good first half but were punished by two mistakes.
"Against a team with good players like Rangers two mistakes means two goals. We have a young team and I hope these mistakes won't happen again."
INJURIES A CONCERN
Jacques Santini admitted last night that injuries are starting to cause major headaches as the start of the Premier League approaches.
Robbie Keane's ankle problem in the friendly defeat against Glasgow Rangers was the latest major blow in a pre-season littered with injuries.
Head Coach Jacques added that Dean Marney, Sean Davis and Anthony Gardner all picked up knocks at Ibrox.
Whether or not they are just knocks, they can be added to a list that currently includes Michael Brown, Simon Davies, Stephen Kelly, Mauricio Taricco, Lee Barnard and Jamie Slabber. At least Fredi Kanoute is training again after illness.
"Each game we have one or two injuries," pondered Jacques. "It is two weeks before the start of the championship and it is a serious problem for me and my coaches.
"After tonight we have Robbie, Dean Marney and maybe Sean Davis and Anthony Gardner injured. This is not good for our preparations for the first match."
