Josh Onomah will swap the FA Cup for the FA Youth Cup as our Under-18s take on Wolves on Thursday (January, 22).
The young midfielder became the latest Academy product to make his debut for the first team when he stepped off the bench in our 4-2 third round replay win against Burnley at the Lane on Wednesday night.
Josh, 17, now turns his attentions to Wolves and the FA Youth Cup - a competition the lads are determined to shine in.
They did just that with a 4-1 win against Blackburn in the third round and will look for a repeat performance back at Dagenham & Redbridge’s Victoria Road for the right to play Manchester United at home in round five.
“I’ve played in this competition for two years now and we all want to do well,” said Josh, who impressed in that third round win against Rovers.
“This season we beat Blackburn 4-1 and I scored and I’m always happy to play whether it’s 18s, 21s or first team.
“It’s a prestigious competition and we’ve love to do well in it this season.”
